What is the need to solve problems? The biggest problem to solve would be to stop trying to look at everything as problems. There are no problems in life. No solutions are required. No resolving or analysing or figuring out is required. Life is just a moment by moment experience & flow. There are no problems in nature. There are no problems in reality. Problems only exist in the human mind. How else can they exist?
Once you look at something as a problem, a great fear arises. An urge arises. To resolve the problem. To fix the situation. To analyse the root cause of the problem. And for that you have to travel back in your past. Where else can the cause exist? If you have an anger problem or a greed problem or an anxiety problem or an addiction problem or an eating problem or an income problem, whatever your so called ‘problem’ is, you want to resolve it by going to the root cause of the problem in the past and fix it. The past cannot be changed but you want to do the impossible. The past is huge and your list of problems is huge and for every problem if you had to go to your past, all your time is going to be spent time travelling. And its absolutely useless because you cannot change the past. You can only reinterpret it. But how long can you keep doing it?
The past is huge and wide and if you spend all your time going through it and trying to reinterpret it, when are you going to live your life? Your present moment is completely wasted in this entire exercise. Why this obsession with past? And exactly in the opposite end is the obsession with the future. If on one side you are trying to find the cause in the past, on the other side you want to make sure that your future is free of the problem. For the past you go to psychoanalysts and for the future you go to astrologers. In both cases the present moment is completely ignored. The only thing that’s real is completely wasted.
The only way is to understand that the problem seems like a problem because you have identified with it. You have forgotten that you are pure consciousness. You are just a mirror reflecting & illuminating the objects of experience. The anger is not you. The anxiety is not you. The greed, lust, addiction is not you. You are the witnessing, aware, presence that contains the experience. You are always pure, luminous, unaffected and free. That is your nature.
